Spicy Roasted Nuts

1 egg white/1 Tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp all spice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1/2 tsp rock salt
2 1/2 cups mixed, raw nuts
Note: You can play around with the spices of your choice.
Dinner party favourites and perfect work snacks. These Spicy Roasted Nuts will leave you begging for more. Everyone snacks on raw, unsalted nuts - yes? Well how about treating yourself and your taste buds with this burst of flavour. Spices are the best way to vamp up your diet, so there really is no need to get bored. The concoction of flavours is never-ending, so get creative and have some fun in the kitchen.
Preheat the oven to 180C
Beat egg white until soft and foamy (There should be no visible liquid left in the bowl).
Vegan alternative: use coconut oil instead of egg whites.
Add spices and combine.
Toss in the nuts until well coated.
Spread nuts in single layer onto a baking tray.
Bake for 20 - 30 minutes, checking on them every 5 minutes.
Toss nuts every 10 minutes, to ensure they do not burn.
Optional: Add raisins once the nuts are out of the oven.
