Pineapple Smoothie

1 lemon, juiced
2 cm cube of ginger, peeled
(Can add extra ginger if you like the kick)
1 pineapple, peeled
1/4 cup water + extra to reach desired consistency
Just pure goodness packed into one delicious and colourful glass. Did you know that pineapples contain digestive enzymes? Meaning they have properties to help digest your food. Mixed with this is a shot of alkalising lemon and a kick of fresh ginger for digestion. Ginger has been used for centuries to soothe stomach ache and to aid digestion. Make this tasty, fresh energy booster your digestion friend.
Juice lemon and ginger.
Blend pineapple with 1/4 cup of water until smooth.
Add water until you have reached your desired consistency.
Add lemon juice mixture slowly, tasting as you go, and pulse until mixed.
Add lemon juice mixture until the taste is perfect for you.
Top with crushed ice and a sprig of mint.
